#Job Summary

Our mission is to develop the best possible solution for managing Ceph based Software Defined Storage. We believe that this is an interesting, exciting and varied playground and we are looking for personalities to join our sales team that like to bring people, organizations and technology together.

#Your responsibilities

  • As member of the sales team, you are the face to our customers
  • You have a lot of technical knowledge and experience in the storage market
  • Provide expert technical knowledge to potential customers by accompanying account managers on customer meetings
  • Design appropriate solutions based on clients specific business needs
  • Coordinate and execute demos and PoCs for customers and partners/IHVs
  • You understand the pains and needs of our (potential) customers and help them to create a very good solution
  • Actively maintain positive customer relationships to ensure account retention and growth
  • Partner with the sales team to identify sales requirements by establishing a personal rapport with technical influencers and decision makers
  • Coordinate supporting activities (e.g. involve support or consulting colleagues if and when necessary)
  • Partner with internal and external subject matter experts to design complete end to end solutions
  • Maintain technical skills by attending educational workshops and reviewing vendor publications

#Requirements

You bring, besides a solid knowledge of Ceph/SDS products and sales and an open and communicative style, experience in the IT industry, preferably storage, linux, and networks. As a passionate sales engineer, you know the solutions and technologies in the market and you are also well connected to potential IHVs and customers in the market.

Besides that, you are

  • well rounded understanding of technology including networking, storage, backup, business continuity and virtualization
  • a teamplayer with strong own opinion
  • fluent in written and spoken English
  • customer service oriented and have the ability to multitask
