Conditions of participation
Participation in the croit competition, hereinafter referred to as the operator or organizer, is free of charge and is governed exclusively by these conditions of participation.
Procedure of the competition
The duration of the competition is only during the opening hours of the SC22 trade fair in Dallas, Texas, USA. During this period, users will be given the opportunity to enter the competition online.
Participation
In order to participate in the competition, it is necessary to submit one’s own full name, e-mail address, phone number and company name through the competition form. Participation is only possible within the participation period.
Only one entry is possible per participant. It is strictly forbidden to use more than one entries to increase the chances of winning.
Participation in the competition is free of charge.
Eligible participants
Eligible to participate are natural persons who have reached the age of 18. Participation is not restricted to customers of the organizer and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services.
Should a participant be restricted in his legal capacity, the consent of his legal representative is required.
Not eligible to participate in the competition are all persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition and employees of the operator as well as their family members. In addition, the operator reserves the right to exclude persons from participation at its own discretion if there are justified reasons, for example
(a) in the event of manipulation in connection with access to or implementation of the prize game, (b) in the event of violations of these conditions of participation, (c) in the event of unfair actions or (d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the prize game.
Winning, notification and transmission of the prize
The following prizes will be awarded:
- #WIN 1# Millennium Falcon™ 75192 | Star Wars – Lego. (November 17th 14.00)
- #WIN 2# Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder™ | Star Wars – Lego. (November 15th 17.00)
- #WIN 3# R2-D2™ | Star Wars – Lego. (November 16th 17.00)
There will be three separate raffles for each prize at the specified dates next to them.
The winners will be determined after the closing date for entries as part of a random draw among all participants.
croit GmbH can ask for ID Card, drivers license or social security card to check the identity of the winner.
If the winner is not at our booth at the announcement time, another drawing will be done to find a new winner. (There can be 10 attempts in total until there is a winner present at our booth)
If the winner is not present at our booth, the item will be a part of the next drawing.
On the last drawing, there will be as many attempts as possible to find a winner.
The prize will only be handed over to the winner or to the legal representative of the underage winner. An exchange, a self-collection as well as a cash payment of the prize are not possible.
Additional costs associated with claiming the prize shall be borne by the winner. The winner is responsible for any taxation of the prize.
Termination of the competition
The organizer expressly reserves the right to terminate the competition without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the competition from running as planned.
Data protection
Participation in the competition requires the provision of personal data. The participant assures that the personal data provided by him/her, in particular first name, last name and email address, are true and correct.
The organizer points out that all personal data of the participant will neither be passed on to third parties nor given to them for use without consent.
In the event of a win, the winner agrees to the publication of his/her name and place of residence in the advertising media used by the organizer. This includes the announcement of the winner on the website of the operator and its social media platforms.
However, all personal data may be used by croit itself in the context of recurring advertising measures. The participant may revoke his/her declared consent at any time. The revocation must be sent in writing to the contact details of the organizer provided in the imprint area of the operator’s website. After revocation of the consent, the collected and stored personal data of the participant will be deleted immediately.
In the event of a win, the winner agrees to the publication of his/her name and place of residence in the advertising media used by the organizer. This includes the announcement of the winner on the website of the operator and its social media platforms.
Applicable law
Questions or complaints in connection with the competition should be addressed to the operator. Contact options can be found in the imprint area of the operator’s website.
The operator’s competition is subject exclusively to the laws of the Federal Republic of United States of America. Legal recourse is excluded.
Severability clause
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Participation is or becomes invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Participation. Instead of the invalid provision, the legally permissible provision that comes closest in economic terms to the meaning and purpose expressed in the invalid provision shall apply. The same applies in the event of a loophole in these conditions of participation.
